A group of German hackers released on Monday a new tool that enables a single computer to take down a net server employing a secure connection, according to a report by CNET.

The THC-SSL-DOS tool requires advantage of a flaw located in the SSL renegotiation protocol by innundating it with continued requests for safe connections.

SSL renegotiation makes it possible for Web sites to develop a new Laptop Repair security key more than an currently established SSL connection.

The group, dubbed The Hackers Choice (http://thehackerschoice.wordpress.com), said its motivation for issuing the exploit is to expose the flaws in SSL.

The Hackers Selection mentioned exploit can also be utilized on servers that do not have SSL renegotiation enabled, but it requires slight alteration and the use of multiple computers.
